Job description

We’re looking for a talented, detail-oriented Product Technical Writer with practical enterprise B2B experience to make Laminar’s innovative solution accessible to prospects and customers alike.

You enjoy working on technologically advanced systems and get a kick out of conveying complex ideas in the simplest manner, which motivates your audience to take action (”explain this to me like I’m a 5 year old”). This creates immense value for our customers as utilizing more of our solution makes their work extremely efficient and impactful.

You will work with key members from Product, Engineering, and Sales to create impactful content that will drive Laminar’s customers and prospects to take action.

Your content will help drive sales, explain product behavior to existing customers, and help resolve customer support requests. You will also help craft our product copywriting, and help run new features launch campaigns.

If you have a collaborative spirit, you’re a natural storyteller, and you enjoy writing about technology and the humans and organizations that use it - your place is with us.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of full responsibility in technical product writing in an Enterprise B2B environment - a must.
  • You must be comfortable working with, and marketing to, technical buyers and stakeholders within enterprises.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to translate complex workflows into engaging product documentation.
  • A technical knowhow to start, and later manage, a large knowledge base that is easily consumed by our customer base as well as support marketing goals to promote some of your content. You should know what are the common modern tools used today.
  • Ability to measure the effectiveness of your content using modern tools.
  • You’re a natural storyteller. You have strong written communication that are necessary to develop or tune extremely simple and clear messaging, tools and content.
  • You’re a collaborator and a self-driver. Proven track record of working with matrixed & cross functional teams and establishing strong relationships with product, marketing and sales teams.
